     在英国，人们普遍认为，玩电子游戏导致肥胖危机，一组美国调查人员发现在游戏屏幕前长坐数小时确实有这一坏处。同时，玩电子
游戏使孩子远离了更健康的户外活动。

    It is widely believed that video games are contributing to Britain's obesity crisis, a team of American researchers
has found that there are benefits to sitting in front of a screen for hours on end.And playing video games distract
children from more healthy outdoor pursuits.

     其他调查人员又发现玩电子游戏的孩子思维更敏捷，有好的手眼协调能力。玩电子游戏能提高高心理旋转能力、视觉–空间的记忆，还能锻炼一心多用的能力。

    Other researchers found that children who played video games were quick thinkers and had good hand-eye co-ordination.Playing video games enhances performance on mental rotation skills, visual and spatial memory, and tasks requiring divided attention。

I sill remember the time I played video games,I always played it after  school.but I still got high score in the exam,so my parents  allowed me to do everying.now , the computer games
is my favourate entertainment .so,i think it is depend on oneself

    hehe~It is difficult to try to strike a balance between study and rest ,you have set a good example to children.

I think everything has two coins,video games have bad sides for children,but also good sides, so  I think as parents,you should not forbid children palying it,because you can't totally stop it ,maybe,what you do will enhance children's interests of this ,so why don't we let them play,what we need do is just controling and  guiding.
