在英文里，表达“封杀” 有几个短语：如to shut out、a force-out、thrown out (threw out)都可以。
来看几个例子学习它们的用法
1、to shut out
Right now one can generally confirm that domestic internet companies are uniting to shut outGmail. 目前大体可以确认，国内的网络公司在联手封杀Gmail服务。
2、thrown out
It's your play. The runner was thrown outin a close play. 该由你走了。赛跑者很快被封杀出局。
3、a force-out
A force out is made when a baserunner is forced to leave his base when the batter becomes a baserunner himself, and a fielder successfully tags the next base before the runner can reach it.
a force-out 开始指在体育的垒球运动中“封杀出局(FORCE-OUT)”：即是击球员成为跑垒员时，造成击跑员或前位跑垒员丧 失跑垒的权利,而刺杀出局者。
但是同时也经常用来指一般的“封杀”

4、ban
ban一般都用来表达“禁止”、“禁令”，但是在某些语境下，也可以理解为“封杀”
