Walking around the shopping malls of Beijing, you will find a throng of glass-enclosed mini karaoke booths covering just 2 square meters, in which people indulge in their love of singing without blasting out loud music.
迷你卡拉OK房或迷你KTV(mini karaoke booths),里面的设备与传统的KTV类似,有一个大型触摸屏(a large touch screen),两个高脚凳(two barstools),两副耳机(two pairs of headsets)和两个高感知度的麦克风(two high sensitivity microphones)。
与传统KTV不同的是,迷你KTV可以进行实时录音(real-time recording),用户唱完之后,唱过的歌就会自动发送到用户手机上,以便分享到社交媒体。如果用户想要把唱过的歌制作成一张专辑(make the recordings into an album),也是可以实现的。
迷你KTV的出现,为消费者在碎片化的时间(fragmented time)里提供了一种全新的娱乐消遣方式(new way of entertainment)。逛商场累了,可以边休息边唱歌;电影开场之前有点时间,可以唱首歌来消磨时间。
