Israeli police have evicted Palestinian protesters from a site in the occupied West Bank where Israelis plan to build a settlement. Palestinian activists erected tents in the area known as E-1 on Friday saying they wanted to stop Israeli construction in the West Bank. The activists ignored orders to leave the area until Israeli police moved in bulldozers early today.
