Turning the fireplace in her living room into a stage for performing, she began serenading her family and friends at age two. On her thirteenth birthday she received her first guitar, an acoustic Takamine, and soon discovered the therapeutic powers of song writing. She is now a junior at Northern Arizona University, and has put her talents to use by performing at Open-Mic nights in both Phoenix and Flagstaff, Arizona. Leah’s style is best described as a type of gentle folk music, the kind of tunes that sound best around a campfire or in a quiet room filled with friends. She is inspired endlessly by nature, love , friendship and the never- ending roller coaster of life. Leah prides herself in creating music that is raw, relatable and lyrically driven.
