INTERVIEW 开始是小的INTERVIEW。问题很常规:What's your name? Where do you come from? Have you worked or do you study? 等。 往下一些小的问题,问我的PARTNER:Do you like your job? 他讲的时候我已经完全策划好该怎么说,可是问到我的时候突然就改了个话题:What is your career plan? 我楞了一下,但是马上就接着说:“我希望自己可以做得越来越专业,接下去的三年希望通过努力能做到管理层。”考官似乎很满意。下一个问题是:How important is teamwork to Chinese people? 我马上说:“对于中国人来说,团队很重要,因为中国人和西方人不同,不强调个人主义,强调合作性。”考官点头表示赞同。我的同伴英文也很流利,但是总想展开,讲得有点长,几次被考官打断。
MINI-PRSENTATION 第二部分每个人给三个TOPIC,任选其一准备一分钟讲一分钟。考官会给每个人白纸做笔记。时间仓促,我只记得自己选中的题目:How to ensure the effectiveness of the training scheme of your company? 关于培训我还比较熟。我谈了几点:1. 选择实用的培训课程。2 倾听雇员的要求 3. 和声誉良好的培训公司合作。一分钟很快结束,PARTNER让我举个例子,我举了我们自己公司的例子。PARTNER的题目是:How to ensure you recruit the right staff? 他谈得也很流利,一看就是有备而来。我的问题是:Which personal characteristic is most important when choosing the right employees in your company? 他回答说:正直。
我们的题目是: You work in a holiday hotel. Recently, you received some complaint from your customer. Discuss: How to respond to customers' complaint? What actions should be taken for your company?
