今天我们要说的口语就与“保守秘密”有关，叫做“mum's the word”（别声张、保密）。这种说法是莎士比亚在《亨利六世》里创造的。因为我们在读“mum”这个词的时候，两个嘴唇就会闭在一起，发出“嗡嗡”的声音，就好象把话都关在嘴里一样，这样别人就不会知道秘密了。
