European football's governing body, which has vowed to crack down on racism in football, has now decided to launch disciplinary proceedings. (1)                                                                                 . Uefa have already handed a five-match ban to Real Madrid's coach Jose Mourinho after his outburst during the same match. Racism has been a controversial issue in Spanish football. (2)                                                                         . Earlier this year, Barcelona's Brazilian defender Danny Alves said it was uncontrollable.
Notes:
1)  ban n. 禁止, 禁令
    例句:The union has imposed a ban on overtime.
    工会制定了超时加班的禁令。
2) crack down采取严厉措施, 制裁
    例句:The police are really beginning to crack down on drivers who park their cars just where they like.
    警察真要对那些随便停放汽车的司机采取严厉措施了。

原来是for,不是of。新闻中的介词,冠词有时候读的实在太模糊了。
