preview：

1当我心情不好时，我从来都不会向任何人说出我不开心的原因。
when I am in a bad mood , I won't account for my unhappiness to anybody .
2,如果好朋友因为某些事而误会了对方的话，就应该当面解释清楚。、
if our good friend get us wrong because of something , we ought to account for it clearly .

a great deal of 后面所接的是不可数名词，而a great number of 后面接的是可数名词
for instance :
1,I have a great deal of money in my wallet . (我钱包里面有很多钱）
2，there are a great number of people in the park .(公园里有很多人）

practice：
1, 他们买了好多食物。
2，河里有好多鱼。

2.there are a great number of fishes in the river

fish 表示鱼的种类的时候，是可数；表示个数的时候，是不可数名词吧？

yeah ,both of you are right . thanks for your reminding !但是fish作为条数时候，它也是一个可数名词，只不过单复数一样的

哈哈，忘记说了，fish作为条数的时候，它也是可数名词，但是它的单复数一样的。
