在2000年的圣诞节，张学友为了圆自己一个心愿，发了这张英文专辑，同时也是他个人目前为止唯一的一张英文专辑，《Touch of Love》。尤其是这首〈This Time Next Year〉，唯美浪漫的前奏和编曲，总是营造出属于十二月那种寒冷又神秘的气氛，伴随着圣诞节一丝丝宗教与童话的气息。张学友的唱腔在里面非常温柔、温暖，英文歌词也写得凄美而浪漫。
