A bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
　　双鸟在林，不如一鸟在手。
　　这是句美国谚语。源自拉丁谚语。意思是猎人射死了一只鸟，这只
鸟就成了他的猎获物。如果树上还有两只鸟，能把它们同时打中，当然那两
只也是猎人的战利品；但如果不打中，那两只鸟定会闻声逃走。因此这则谚
语中心的意思是：“到手的东西才靠得住。”
