Couple Mark and Denise Duffield Thomas said "I do" 85 times, breaking the world record, in just six months.

　　Mark, from Cheshire, UK, and Denise, from Australia, met as students in Manchester in July 2002. They married for the first time at Ufton Court, near Reading, Berks, in 2008.

　　They began on May 25 by marrying five times in 48 hours in New York - at the Waldorf Astoria hotel, the top of the Empire State Building, in a taxi and twice in Central Park.

One of the most heart-stopping was in a lagoon with stingrays and sharks swimming past them in Daydream Island, Australia. "Luckily, we didn't get bitten!" Denise added.

　　Their 85th wedding won them a place in the Guinness World Records but, while they are going back to their day jobs for now, they are not totally against the idea of yet another wedding.
