_____________________________ Federal workers who have been furloughed during the government shutdown could be looking at some relief. The Republican-led US House of Representative Saturday afternoon unanimously passed a bill guaranteeing that all federal workers laid off during the government shutdown, up to 800,000 people, will eventually be paid the wages they would've earned if there were no mass furloughs. A partial US government shutdown now is near its sixth day. Congressional Democrats and Republicans differed in resolving the fiscal impacts and each side appears to believe that standing firm will cause the other to relent, thereby propagating the standoff. VOA's Michael Bowman reports from Washington. _______________________ 在政府关门期间休假的联邦员工有望获得一些救济.
