Loving for the first time can be an overwhelming experience, even if you have loved before. You will always know true love when you feel it in your heart.
That was the case with my husband and I. I felt as though I had known him for years. What he and I did in a month of dating, most people do not do in a year.
I was a single mother with five children, who all were not at home with me. I was living on a low income and had low self esteem, until Larry came in to my life.
From the first day we were best friends. Never once did we have a fight or harsh words; he seemed like god. I wanted to be with him forever and I knew I would be.
Larry told me a sad story that happened to him 25 years ago when he lost his first love to a drunk driver. I was so overwhelmed by his story but at the same time I was interested.
I had some strange flashbacks, and some weird things happen to me. I went to my church and asked my priest to explain. He told me of spirits which can sometimes travel into another person's body. Was I living in my body and sharing it with someone else?
At first I wanted to cry, but then all I could do was smile. I was myself, but his first love was also a part of me. On the same day of her death, I had a near death experience. It seemed like our souls connected and years later I found Larry again.
That explained how he and I hit it off from the start. We were inseparable. Our love now has bloomed into a wonderful life together.
Everyone who believes in soul mates has to really look at that term. It can happen. Like I said you know you're truly in love when you get shivers up your spine, your heart aches, and your smile cannot stop.
Larry and I have a lot of catching up to do and a lot of new memories to make, but never again will we be apart. I not only found the man of my dreams I truly found my soul mate.
