Hello Saferide are primarily Annika Norlin, a music journalist from Sweden who was surprised to find success as a singer/songwriter. While Norlin wrote songs in the past, she finally recorded a song for fun and put it online. She quickly received label interest, and in September 2005, Razzia Records released Introducing... Hello Saferide. A band was assembled and through 2006 Hello Saferide played over 100 shows around the world.
