A：If I can improve my vertical jump a few more inches, I think beach volleyball might be my ticket. 要是我的垂直跳能再高个几寸，我想我能参加奥运海滩排球比赛。

B：But whenever we play, you just sit on the sand, drink beer, and watch the girls! 可是不管我们何时在打球，你就只是坐在沙滩上喝啤酒，看美眉！


A：It's a beautiful sport, isn't it? 那是个很美的运动，不是吗？


B：To be honest, I don't think you could even win a gold in hopscotch! 老实说，我觉得你连玩“跳房子”都拿不到金牌！


A：OK, OK. Enough already. We'd better hustle. The contest starts in five minutes. 好啦。够了。我们最好快点。比赛再过五分钟就要开始了
