答案是C
解释：状语从句部分使用的是省略后的倒装形式
正常语序应为  whether it might be selling goods or shopping them

可是我还是不懂，闷啊

所以请各位高手指点一下，感激不劲

此句的主干是The business of today went quite smoothly.(今天的生意很顺利);whether it might be selling goods or shopping them是由whether...or...引导的让步状语从句,就相当于be+主语+表语1+or+表语2:即be it selling goods or shopping them,记住就好,现在明白了?
