Before I finished explaining, I heard him cry out. "Ah, you clever old Saknussemm!" he exclaimed. "So, you wrote your sentence backward."
我还没解释完，就听到他叫了出来。“啊，聪明的萨克努姗！”他大声说道。“原来你把句子颠倒过来了。”

He picked up the document, and read it with tears in his eyes. The writing was originally in Latin, but the English translation is as follows:

Go down into the mountain of Sneffels, in which the sun will shine into before the end of July, daring traveler, and you will reach the center of the earth, which I have done-Arne Saknussemm

他捡起文件，泪眼朦胧地读了出来。原文是用拉丁文写的，其英译如下：

After reading this, my uncle jumped out of his chair. He looked overjoyed and determined. After thinking for a few moments, he began to speak.

读完之后，我叔叔从椅子上跳了起来。他的神情狂喜而坚定。他想了一会儿，然后开始说话。

" What time is it?" he asked.

“什么时候了？”他问道。

"Three o'clock," I answered.

“三点，”我答道。

"Really? I'm already hungry again. Let's go eat, and then…"

"And then?"

“然后呢？”

"You'll pack my suitcase."

“你给我收拾行李。”

"What!" I exclaimed.

“什么！”我叫道。

"And your own," he said, going into the dining room.
